Am I medically eligible for some department of CSS?

I am starting preparation for CSS. The problem is that I was on a treatment for Tuberculosis a year ago though now I have recovered. Other issue is that I use eyeglasses, I have weak eyesight, will they reject me in the medical test?

Many selected candidates wear glasses before and after selection...so for certain groups eyesight is not an issue.

Glasses as not an issue. However, tuberculosis is because it spreads from one person to an other. On the basis of that they can reject you. You have mentioned that you have been cured so there is no need to worry if you have recovered fully. You can ask your specialist about this that if after cure can some medical tests reveal that you have history of tuberculosis or not? If answer is no than there is no need to mention it in any documents. Hide it.

If they say yes, it can reveal than you can write a letter directly to Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) along with your contact details. They will call you back or will send you in written telling you your exact status of eligibility. I suggest you to send a certificate or a letter from your doctor verifying that you have been recovered fully.

Thank you guys. For now my test do no show any sign of the disease because I'm getting follow ups regularly. I'll definitely get checked again before applying. I was more concerned about the eyesight thingy.

Stammering is not a disability. I am insulin dependent diabetic with various complications. I also have many other complications due to this problem. Social security Pakistan has issued me a disability certificate which is the non challenge able according to law as they issue after verification. They conduct series of tests and issue it to only deserving person but sadly FPSC is not accepting it.

They are not even accepting certificates of people with missing fingers etc
Only blind, deaf and majorly physically disable persons are accepted as disable person by FPSC.

Moreover, in their letter they have clearly mentioned that there are no reserve seats for disable. But it can help out in group preference and age relaxation matter.

Eye sight is not an issue. My uncle is CSP and he wears glasses. I my self have weak eyesight and it has been 15 years since I am wearing glasses. Its not an issue. So do not worry about that.

Good Luck.
