Can a person with hepatitis C go for CSS?

Yes, he can go for css. Simultaneously he should get his medical test for checking for the disease, if at all he is having it, he should start taking medication simultaneously and it is hoped that till time the result of css comes out he will be fully recovered from the disease.

Kindly note that vaccination does not cure any disease, vaccines are in fact weak germs of the disease which are injected to persons for safety/precaution against any potential disease. Vaccine of Hepatitis C is only given to a person if his C test is confirmed negative otherwise vaccine can aggravate the disease instead of doing any good.

Thanx tabassum shabbir awan!

he was declared unfit by ISSB due to detection of C+in his blood.later on he went through a treatment of injections etc.if he would still have after tests can he still do any kind of treatment inorder to b fit before medical examination?

He should get a test, if his Hepatitits C comes positive thn he should start treatment for it irrespective of thinking himself for being fit for css or not, this is a disease and should be cured....

i am also the qualifer of the written portion css 2009. My pscological test is going to held this month. I have suffered from Hapititis C which was detected when i went to donate blood to one of friend who was having blood cancer.First of all the test which is done is called

1-ANTI HCV than hcv with aliza . if it is positive it means that those antibodies which are suppose to fight against hcv virus is present in the blood of the perticular person. Aliza test is also the same test but with some advace mechinary and advance technology but it also checks the antibodies only
2- If Anti HCV is found positive than next is to go LFTs (Liver function test) in this the funciton of the liver is to be checked as liver is properly working or not . if ALT or SGPT is raised (obove normal value) than it means that the virus is reacive
3- After this PCR is another test to confirm it if PCR is positive than it means the person is suffering from Hapatitis virus.

4- If the virus is found reactive and than liver biopsy may be performed in which a piece of liver is taken and it is sent to laboratory for checking as if how much liver is damaged.if liver not damaged still than most probably the consultant doctor go for the treatment which is composed of 72 injectes to be complted in six months.
5- After the successful treatment what happens is that PCR test will become negative .
6- But Anti HCV (I mentioned at Number 1) will remain positive for life depsite the fact that PCR is negative .
7- All the people who got Happtitis C in life and got treatment and cured will be having Anti HCV positive for life and PCR negative
8- UPtil now such people are not allowed to visit UAE,Saudi Arabia for regular work visa .
9- Now i will be in a postiion to tell u in a couple of weeks that weather such poeple are fit for css or not as i am having my medical soon .
Please Pray for me and take care

Tell your friend to do his PCR,that will explain the status of his disease plus whenever HCV treatment is started the patient is told to do the LFT's and PCR.

[QUOTE=gigi_ish;163008]ok!

The genotype of HCV that is more prevalent in Pakistan has a cure rate of 80% after a 6 months long course of anti viral therapy...

Anti HCV positive and PCR negative is Fit

i have undergone a comprehensive medical examination at islamabad NIH hospital . i was having hapititis C positive (anti hcv postive). I have undergone the long six months treatment and finally i got my PCR negative. Remember that if some body have anti Hcv positve it will remian positive for life, after cure only pcr test got negative.
The medical board consider any body having hcv postive and pcr negative as FIT.So by the grace of Allah I got fit but people with conditions similiar to me can not travel to Daubi , KSA as the law dont permitt on permanent work visa uptill now .
Pray for me as my Final Viva is near...............
Thank u
