Default Eyesight for Police
Hello,

The information for eye examination section is very confusing. My near vision is perfect and I have a number between -0.5 and -0.75 for both my eyes for distant vision. I can read the board perfectly with some difficulty with the last line. I play sports regularly and to my knowledge have no medical issues.

Will my eyesight be a problem for Police?

same trouble here..

My distant vision is -1.0 on left side and -0.5 on right side..I just came to know about this when I went for my CSS medical.I wasn't able to read last two lines on that chart.now I wear glasses..my near eye sight is perfect.I'm a girl.Am I eligible to be considered for Police group ????

plz respond.The reaction of my Doctor was if I'm blind.I'm really worried.

my vision acuity is 6/36
i wear -4 glasses
and i was cleared for all groups of civil service.

your eyesight is perfect even for army....police is no matter.

Seniors plz help I hav this problem that my right eye is 6/6 , but my left eye is weak even after wearing glasses this is a eye disease called Amlyopia, am I eligible?

need help....
my eyesight is very weak for right eye -10 & for left eye -11... even wid glasses it is 6/12 for both eyes also i have sensorineural hearing defect of my right ear means i can hear from one ear only.... m i eligble for all groups??or can apply for selective groups???
