Default Need Expert advice for Weak Eyesight and color blind person
A.O.A, i have weak eyesight of 1.5 and i m colorblind, i want to appear in css exam but i just want to ask that am i eligible in all departments or if i m not then in which department?????

Weak eyssight of 1.5 is not an issue. Eyesight should be OK with glasses.
Secondly, Colour blindness only stops you from joining Railways. I am also colour blind.

You are fit for all departments except Railways.

Thank you so much, I was very upset regarding this but now i m very happy. One thing more that i have also heard that color blind person can't join police services....Is it right?

hi,i am appearing in css this year as i am not senior but i am eye specialist thats why i am helping u,ur error will b covered with glasses,but color blind mean red green defeciency,so as in police department and driving n night spcially on roads u will have problem.f u have any problem u can ask.

whats does mean by 6/24?
or 6/60 ?
6/6 with glasses, then what is reqirement without glasses?? plz guide mam aroosh

6/24 means a person can read the 1st four words at 6 meter distance from visual drum(Chart for testing vision).
6/60 means,a person can just read 1 top capital letter at 6 meter distance.
6/6 means one can read all the letters on visual drum from 6 meter distance(normal vision).
There is no such limit without glasses,,the limit for CSS is 6/6 vision with Glasses.
Vision should be 6/6 with glasses.

Dr, I have -2.5 eyesight. I can see clearly with glasses. Am I eligible for Police Department?

Yeah sure,,If you can see the last line on visual drum in Dr room..-2.50DS is not so high number.Keep studying,You will be CSP insha ALLAH.

I had answered you if with glasses you can see 6/6 line,,You are eligible for every Group.
