Default Guidelines for Psychological Test

You must ensure that for psychological these things must be prepared :

For Day 1

1. A brief autobiography
2. Yours, Your father's and mother's 5 Strengths and 5 weaknesses
3. Review of ATLEAST two books and books that you have actually read
4. Recent responsibilities that you have in your home as well as professional life
5. 1-2 events of international, national and personal importance in the year 2007/2006. But please don't try to impress them by writing such international/national event that you don't know at all about and then when you are in the interview with the psychologist you will have it!
6. You favourite personality and why?
7. IQ Test
8. Make sentences of words. Use them in a meaningful way that shows how smart you are!
9. Complete the sentences.
10. Make a story from a picture. Try to be objective. Don’t make a story out of the picture that is not shown there only to show that you are a positive thinker.

Day 2

1. 15 minutes discussion in Urdu on any current topic. Start the discussion if and only if you have command over it and know what it is about. Try to be polite to other speakers. You will witness a scene there. This is the time everyone would come to know what sort of person you are. And when others are not letting you speak at all, which will definitely happen, use polite phrases like " Qata kalami muaff" .Address the male and female participants with due respect. This is not only to check how you speak but how you conduct people.
2. Next there would be a 15 minutes discussion in English. Keep same points in mind.
3. Thirdly, you would be given a task to command. It can be any administrative problem. Keep it in the mind that you have eight minutes to present the case to participants. Take their suggestion and reach a conclusion. A better way to start the command task would be “ AOA ladies and gentlemen in my capacity as the (your designation) I welcome you all to this meeting that has been called for ( The reason). I did not assign roles to other participants before hand rather I assigned them roles on the spot that was helpful because one might forget what role does that specific individual has. Assign them meaningful roles. For example if you are chairing a meeting of law and order, and you are in the shoes of a DCO assign other participants as SSP, ACO, Rep of Home Deptt. Rep of FC, Rep of Intelligence Agency, Local Nazim and Local Elder. What I aim to reiterate here is that in a law and order meeting the participants will not be from food department of excise department. So assign meaningful roles. You will also be given a paper before to write notes/points while you are chairing it. Write clearly on it and don’t erase anything on it. After hearing all the participants reach a conclusion. Moreover, take positive part in the command task of other candidates as well. Be vigilant. Participate well. Because here your abilities are being tested both as a team leader as well as a team participant.
4. Finally an interview with the psychologist for 20-30 minutes. It would be regarding whatever you have written on Day One. It will be both in Urdu and English.

dr.junaid...

there z a book by bhatti publisherz on psycological tests
that works fine

4 group discussion:
u cn arrange a group of freinds
n make a list of current affair topics
n try making conversation wd each other

wn u actually go 4 the discussion infront of the
psycologists...
u hv to make sure:
1.ur polite
2.ur speech is clear,intelligble
3.u gv space to others to speak
4.watever u hv to say should make sense
5.u dnt hv to speak more than 2-3 times

4 command task:
they gv each 6-8 of u a proposition
in which there is a role playing
u hv to act as watever officer
they ask u to act like
brief the other participants
n make them discuss the proposition wd u
acting as a team

basically its to check whether u cn act as
a team member
n ur leadership qualities

smtimes ppl thinking that
taking all the time
n attention wl get them more credit...
which z the most erroneous impression
anyone cn hv!

plus plus...

u should be well dressed
keeping the season in mind

n be polite to the ladies
if there are any in ur group

but leave out any point on merit
like if its genuinely ur turn
u hv to grab it
n make the psycologist see
that u gave as much space
as u could
but u wont let any one step on u!!!

cheerz

All of you must be well dressed on the psychological. Try to wear formal on both days. I wore combination on both days . Your each and every move will be noticed. So, it will go in your favour if you are polite and well mannered. The psychologist report will be infront of the chairman and members . And the autobiography as luckydevil mentioned will also be in front of the chairman when he will be interviewing.

Bokhary,

Yes Shalwar kameez with waist coast will be fine. But if you have a well stitched coat a combination with it will also be fine. But for interview with the panel wear a suit.

Qualifiers 2007,

Be in touch with current affairs. As in the interview with the psychologist you will be asked about current issues. Over and above it, you must have a view point of your own on all issues, knowing about them is not enough. For every current issue like for president's election to the precarious situation in the tribal areas, you must have a view point. So an appropriate way is that I followed for my interview was I prepared a list of all current issues. And then i jotted down my view point on all the issues. It will help me as when you are asked any type of question you will be ready to answer it in a very good way. On the contrary, if you are not prepared and donot have a view point on the issues, taking a stance at that very moment and gathering words to express your view will be difficult.
