Default What will you wear

I see teh mods didnt appreciate my previous attempt at asking this question, so let me give it another shot.

Would most guys be wearing Black suits? or would anyone be bold enuff to splash a bit ov color around?? shiny silk shirt? neon socks? radioactive underwear??? id love to wear my Bugs Bunny necktie wese

And ladies......... would anyone of u consider wearing a business suit to the interview?? It looks SOOOOOooooo professional ( a proper ladies suit I mean)
and is appealing too. Or would u all be wearing gulaaabi prints stitched up by maaaster saaab?

Clocko u better be in a pinstripe suit i kid you not

Is there a dress code though? I wonder......

Hehe yes a grey suit with black pinstripes....one like i remember a certain grandfather wearing

On a serious note...from what i have heard the panel really checks out each n every VISIBLE article of clothing including shoes, socks, wrist watch. Plus you need to have a very neat n trimmed look....no long flowing hair, no unshaven unkempt look!!!

So please keep the bugs bunny tie n flashy neon green socks for the academy.

As far as i know,Interview panel is never interested in ur either Black-suit or buisness suit etc,,As for the Dress code, just be gently dressed man.....n dont look like a convas or cocoon...

But a gentle -man...

@ Dritte:
I have replied you in pvt. There is complete freedom of expression in the forum, but no freedom afterwards. Currently I dont have gold plated brass swords ,and collar docs, on my shoulders thus I cannot afford to be " In the Line of Fire"

hello all
well people i have had some experience of official interiews at highest level. that goes as far as staff officer to DG civil defence, SO to DG civil aviation and a few more. well first thing is ur look. u r going to appear in an interview that is for BSP-17. well u have to be young at this stage and should portray a young , educated, articulate and well groomed youngman who looks young but thinks old. so gray pinstripe or white shalwarsuit with a black or matching waistcoat will do. just remember that be urself in the interview. be liberal but not rebel. be a conservative but not old fashioned. u need to show them that u have administrative and managemkent skills and u can exibit certain wits when the times come. have a nice hair cut preferably semi army style. that is wht is liked by all generals and well two of then are there in ur panel. dont sit crossed legged in ur interview. avoid figits like moving legs or rubbinh ur hands on eachother. be honest if u dont know something it is not a big mistake but if u try to hide it or lie that definatly is a big mistake. look into the eyes of person who is asking u the question. keep a v v v small smile or ur face. u should look slightly happy. that will make u look fresh. dont try to be extra sober or serious. DONT LOOK AT UR WATCH DURING INTERVIEW. dont wear any radical clothing or perfume. when they asks u to sit down dont drag the chair. lift it back sit on it and when u get up do same. leave the chair in place as it was when u r leaving the room. when u enter go stand in front of the panel and say salam and wait for the invitation to sit.
well i think that is enough for starter. if u have an question plz drop me a few words and i am sure i will get something out of the pandora box.

well miss fatima tats coz the interview panel consist of army officers and they have very rigid beleifs vis a vis women folk....in an army organisation it is considered unethical for women to use strong scent or even to wear heel walay shoes ..yet exceptions are always there

Fatima please there is no such issue. I went with perfume....just don''t over do it that the gentlemen get a headache but otherwise its fine. U should look professional and in Pakistan women heels to work everyday so there is no issue on that either. Furthermore what''s important is that u should be comfortable in what ure wearing and be able to carry it.

I am not sure why everyone is so much concerned about the Army officer in the panel. When you wear a perfume(specially women) please make sure you don't use it in excess that it becomes a headache.
Besides army officers are afraid of heels cos of the counter attack(atleast the women heals are no bad than a cruise missile ah~) just kidding though~

Be yourself, and that is all i know!
