these were the people who started to counter the propaganda against muslims...the reason why they are called militant journalists is because the way they wrote the news articles...they were full of propaganda and were aimed to incite the feeling of muslim nationalism...during the kanpur mosque tragedy and disintegration of turkish empire these journalists were spearheading the muslim cause...
