Default Journalism syllabus question

There is a simple question: Do I need do prepare the topics only mentioned in the syllabus OR I should cover the whole area?

For example: The tops NEWS in syllabus contains one topic i.e. Principles & techniques of News writing ...... whereas in the book "exploring journalism" by M.Yousaf there is a comprehensive chapter on NEWS (chap 2).

I need to cover that chapter completely OR just one topic mentioned in the syllabus? please guide.

Regards.

You have to read the whole topic to catch the true sense of a question.Otherwise it would create trouble for you

In my personal opinion only topic which is given in syllabus should be prepared in bullet points because time is too much short....

on the other hand most repeated questions are given in Juornalism section of this site, you should focus on that questions,,,,,i have got 63 marks unexpectedly by adopting this strategy in CE 2011

Past papers are useful, questions are repeated at times but not so often according to new trends!
