4 he must discharge his duties with accuracy .
5 in line with the discharge of duties , he should keep interests and rights of his colleagues aloft and intact .
6 a good journalist should be aware of press laws relating to libel , contempt of court and copyrights .
7 a crime reporter should not become a tout or the PRO of the police station .
8 a journalist shall avoid the willful calumny , slander , libel and other serious professional offences .
9 it should be his personal duty to stic to the right and moral principles .
10 must not publish such matter which is most likely to create animosity .
11 must not publish data which will cause a problem in pakistan's diplomatic relation .
12 all officially expunged portions of the proceedings of national or provincial assemblies should not be published .
13 headlines should not be designed as to cause material distortion of the content of the news .
14 no newspaper shall accept any financial assistance on behalf of any foreign country .
15 should include morally accepted pictures .
16 they should not target any person any news channel .
17 their aim should be dissemination of news .
