In order to attempt journalism paper you need to have know how of technical terms of Journalism and along with it you should be well aware of the current issues. For example question comes about the freedom of media. In this you need to give reference to code of ethics for media, article 19A of the constitution and other international conventions on free media. Then you need to tell the current state of media, does media enjoy freedom or not. Should media be regulated or given free hand.

If the pattern of journalism paper 2014 is repeated, then you would be required to have a very good analytical skill along with having a good stock of vocabulary in order to pass this paper. Paper of 2014 was simple and questions given were full of clues, but at the same time very much lengthy, verbose and complex.
E.g it is not the socio-economic strata but the digital divide that creates information-rich and information poor
although both are theories, yet the question clearly indicates what the examiner demands.
Socio-economic strata means socio-economic classes and their difference
digital divide indicates for people who have and who have no access to digital means of knowledge.
