Question Need help in theories of sociology
salaam
plz help me out 2 deal wid theories of sociology.1stly can v call theories of functionalism as Evolutionary theories?r both same ?2ndlythe order theory of August Comte can be the material lying under the heading of The Organicism of August comte?n the last is what is Max webber labour theory?

m consulting H.Turner book 4 this theory portion of syllabus how will u rate this book?

Dear asma & qaz

I am not in touch with books these day due to tough official routine but as far as i remember the best book for theory portion is "Contemporary Sociological Theory" by Ruth Wallace & Alison Wold. Hope you can find it in any good library. It is easy to understand and covers all the theorists.
