Dear both political science and geography have their own pros and cons, you must see for your educational background and availability of study material. ..

If you do not have educational background in any of these subjects, thn you may think to go for geography, as in geography you will not be required to write lenghty answers, just give definition, facts, valid explanation aided by illustrations/pictures and you can score good marks in it.

I would also suggest u to go for geography. its very intresting & relatively easy subject. Its nt as dry as pol.Sc. Better to go through the syllabus of both & then decide. Im sure u will opt for geo. F any such help needed u r free to ask.

Dear, if you consider yourself mediocre then Geography is better because:
1- The upper limit of marks scored in geography is more than 155 out of 200.
2- Marks consistency.
3- Less efforts required in geography as Pol Science has very lengthy syllabus.

But if you are not mediocre then i will let you know that it is immaterial which subject you go for. In 2007, Rizvan Gondal (Topper) and Usman Mehsud (Written Topper) both had political science as their optional subject, which is not considered a scoring subject.

Instead of confusing yourself by getting conflicting advices, go for those subjects which are your favorites. Attempt answers on merit and it will definitely pay you.
