Exclamation help needed regarding physics,IR

hi every body
1. last night i was consulting last year papers of physics.
In 1992 physics paper mostly there were numericals but the weightage started reducing in coming years .......in 1997 there were a few numericals....and after 1997 paper,i dont have the further info about physics papers
CAN ANY BODY HELP ME THAT HOW MUCH WEIGHTAGE IS GIVEN TO THE NUMERICALS????
well,i know physics is a mathematical subject but in paper there are certain PROVES whom i am cosidering that they are part of theory.
just tell me how many pure numericals (not proves) are there in paper?????......
Tell me can anybody attempt paper completely without numericals
and also how to go for them if they are included in paper in bigger percentage??????
2. secondly i also realised last night that "international relations" is a good subject...i dont know whether it is marks giving subject or not...my optional subjects are indo pak history,physics,sociology and the last which i was thinking is journalism
i have neither started preparation of journalism nor have the background knowledge of this subject
SO IS IT OK TO PREFER IR OVER JOURNALISM?????
i think IR will also help in essay writing
and current affairs
WHAT DO U THINK???
sorry for such a lengthy query...but i think u cant hit the mark until u have complete details

AOA. Waseem dear u r welcomed at the Forum. i took both IR and Journalism last year. both the subjects are interesting. but IR is a lengthy subject than that of Journalism. for IR u must update urself wd Current Affairs, and i suggests u to study the following two excellent books for IR:
1. Parkash Chandar's International Relations.
2. Baylis & Smith's 'The Globalization of World Politics."

@Waseem Gurmani
well dear, IR and journalism both r good and interesting subjects.

WHAT DO U THINK???
u r right to some extent...........onc can easily understand C.A by opting IR.
and yes , its also helpful for current essays.
IR is little bit lenghty than Journalism............if u r unable to decide what to select than let me give u one more option....that is int.Law
believe me its relatively short and easy than IR.
im doing masters in IR , if u need any help than u r most welcome.
for books guidance about journalism u can check it out

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/general/o...s/group-b/940-journalism-aj.html

if u need any help in selecting books for IR , u can freely ask me.
take care
regards,

Assalam u Alaikum.
@Waseem

as far as i think, both journalism and IR are good subjects, and you are right that IR does help in essay(depending on the topic you select to write on) and in current affairs.

for IR Parkash Chandar's International Relations is good compared to the syllabus of the subjects, this book effectively covers the whole subject, but its an old book so here comes the second book The Globalization of World Politics by Baylis and smith. these are enough.

if u go for journalism. then Exploring Journalism by M. Yousaf is enough for the syllabus and Mass Communication by Imtiaz Shahid to revise the subject effectively.

my suggestion... go for IR. rest is your decision. go through the syllabus, then go to a book store, read the contents of the books mentined. then decide what ur instincts say

Allah Hafiz
