Top 20 Qs (Exam Cram)
Hello Guys!
Can anyone post the Top 20 questions of the jehangir exam cram here? It would be a great help as I wont be able to get hold on it until Dec. If not all 20 please add some 5 questions. It would be of great help. Regards, Superfly. |

Geography Paper 1
Q1-a) Define isolation and explain the relationship between insolation and air temperature in different regions of the world using isotherms. (Css 1997) b) Explain how terrestrial heat balance is maintained? What is meant by latitudinal heat balance? (Css 1996) Q.2:a) Discuss the landforms developed by glacial erosion and deposition. b) What is glaciation? Describe landforms associated with glaciation at hilltops. (Css 2003) c) Write a note on the cycle of erosion. Q-3: a) Desccribe the landforms produced by river action in the plains and the geographical importance of flood plains of rivers in Pakistan. (Css 1992) b) What are the external forces acting on the surface of the earth? Describe the landforms made by them. Q-4 a) : Discuss the formation of landforms of wind erosion and deposition. (Css -1996) b) Explain the ways in which each of the following desert landforms originate. (Css2000) 1) Mesa 2) Pedestal Rock 3) Barchan 4) Playa 5) Wadi Q-5:a) Explain different types of mass wasting and the development of associated topographic features. (Css 1991) b) Distinguish between rock weathering and erosion.Show how process of rock weathering in cool humid climate differs from those in hot arid regions? You may take examples from any part of the world. (Css-200) Q-6: Summarise with specific examples classification of rocks and show how different modes of origin affect the exploitation of mineral wealth. (CSS 2000) Q7 a) How are the earthquakes caused? Account for their occurrence in the young fold mountains. (Css 1992) b) What is volcanicity? There are many chronogical events as far as Pakistan Affairs is concerned, these events itself bears importance when taking the important Questions into account.
There is a book authored by Basit Jasra and published by Carvan Publishers which contain 30Qs, it is a nice effort by a person who is currently serving as Deputy Auditor General in PAAS.
