aoa.i m in a fix so need ur opinion....i m a mba was goin for accounting but its very ambiguous subject some one enticed me to go for geography plz sugeest me coz there is not ample time u know only 2 mnths remaining ......

Ap atleast itna to bta den k paper 2 kleay kis book se konsa chapter parhna hai. Ap ki tips parh k maine deblij ki human geography and fazk karim ki economic geography and o'level ki pakistan geography wali books le li. But still confuse hn k in me se kya parhon

mere bhai ma apko kaise samjhaon,ye books bohat easy han apko kya samjh ma nhi a raha. pehle to muje ye btao k pane current affairs ke tyari ker le ha agar yes to phir apko geography paper 2 ki tyari ma mushkil nhi hone chaea.

brother ma apko kaise bata sakte hun k konsa chapter read karo apko just idea lena ha in books se take apka concept clear ho jay.

let me give you an example if i recommend you to study agriculture related all chapter from fazal karim book. and the examiner ask you question about how will you make your agriculture system sustainable after flood then tell ma ap kya likho ga?

so all current affairs programme dekho aur list banao tamam issues ki jo geography se related han jaise integrated water managment issue of pakistan, susutainable agriculture, future of urbanization in pakistan and so on.

i hope ap mere baat samjh gaye ho ga. thore se aur kosish karo ho jaye ga its not a difficult subject at all. ap ker sakte ho go for it and keep your spirit high.

Mujhy jahan tk bat smijh ai hy, geographical factors ka pta chal jaey and facts and figures current affairs se kr lon to concept based questions honge, voh kr longa. Ab pta ni meri bat kahan tk thek hy. Sister mujhy problem ye feel ho rahi thi k jb ye 3 books uthata hon to mujhy lagta hy k pori ki pori krni hain. Q k kuch b irrelevant un me ni hy.

@kauser you are right it`s tough for those who don`t have geo. background, bcoz its totally conceptual once you clear your concept you will be able to secure 90+(luckily like me). don`t worry ho jay ga just concentrate on diagrams,tables.

@rockstar white clouds ma sirf water droplets hote han dirt matter bohat kam hota ha is lea wo apko white nazar atay han.in case of black clouds they have alot dirt particles in them along with waterdroplets,sunlight doesn`t pass through them so they seems black to us.

@azmatullah yes you are right mujhe bhi aise hi lagta tha jab mane ye teno books open ki then but reality is different let ma give you a big example.

first 3 units are very important from objective point of view
4th unit very important bcoz they can ask you about climate type of pakistan and now what changes have benn occured and what are the imapcts of these changes on pakistan climate?
unit 5 very important bcoz water scracity has bcome a severe problem for pakistan and they can ask you question about indus basin water managment?
unit 6 forest types.
unit 7 just read it for objective not very impot. for subj. portion
unit8 fishing mane ye topic kabi prepare nhi kya.
unit 9 agriculture very very imopt. isko her diamension se preapre kerna.
unit 10 sirf major crops kerna. live stock not impot to me.
unit 13 energy resources very impot.(especially recko dik project,power shortages)
communication prepare railways and PIA.
rest of the chapters are same you have already prepare in human geography.

koi aur pareshani ho to zaroor batana ma puri koshish karun gi use solve kerne ki.

Your thread is really of great help. I am literally preparing your notes for Geo-2. I am pretty satisfied with my prep with Geo-1 but Geo-2 is something I am afraid of. I am consulting Fazal Kareem(both books).

If I prepare Geo-2 past 4-5 years question papers(after consulting Internet to make them comprehensive), will that help..?

@skylimit geo.paper 2 cannot be prepared by simply preaparing past 4-5 years papers,like you know water scracity problems was there in south asia especially b/w india pakistan, but none favoured integrated water management of indus basin its a recent phenomenon. read all books but also prepare current issues as well, being a geographer and enviromentalist i have gone through some of geo. issues like i told you before

integrated indus basin management
sustainable agriculture
importance of forestry to control floods in pakistan.
trans-boundry pollution and its control
food scracity after flood
there are many more my friend just concentrate you will easily find them. i am hopeful.


@saleem bhai first of all see the syallabus of geo.paper1 and 2.
then see past 4-5 year papers just to have an idea about paper pattern.
if you don`t have a background in geo. then read all books once and clear all your concepts.bcoz you have ample time to read.

then make a list of important topics both from paper 1 and 2.
then prepare them with full zeal and zest,collect all recent developments in that particular topic.
in geo. plz try to write to the point answers.
