Default Geologica - Earth's dynamic forces

Geologica - Earth's dynamic forces

From Book:

Geologica contains fascinating information about Earth's geological past and present:

Formation of Earth and its geological history
Geological processes that shaped landforms and life
Insight into geological time and some of the major changes that have occurred over billions or millions of years
Supercontinents and how they formed and split apart
Climate throughout Earth's geological history

Geologica's features include:

The world's major tectonic plates shown in huge maps complete with ocean floor topography
Photographs of some of the world's most stunning landforms
Detailed maps of unique geological regions
Illustrations showing how geysers work, caves are formed, canyons are eroded, dikes are formed, and more.

In addition, there's a DVD ROM containing print text, images and maps.

It's a giant book.
