Drawing correctly and clearly is an art. Keep in mind the basic purpose of the diagrams is to clarify the concepts and the observation about the specific part, structure and phenomena. Diagrams illustrate the specific features and what they actually look like .So use diagrams where you feel it clarify the providing answer.
By understanding the basis rules we can get a lot in lesser time and effort. Adopting following practices, guidelines we can attain desire results.
Diagram should simple, neat and clear.
Make it large to clearly distinguish each and every part.
Before drawing anything read the question and think about what they asked, identify important features and draw accordingly.
Diagram should correspond with your explanation/answer
Draw two dimensional line diagrams.
Flow controls/paths should be clear.
Use the different colors pens (blue or black) to show control flows/paths within the drawings.
Label parts you discuses in explanation section or are important with the straight line (labeling line).
Dont overlap /cross the labeling lines.
Label the parts correctly and labeling line should touch the named part.
Dont over label the drawing
Draw at the center.
Use sharps line to represent the objects.
Give the title to diagram and with the capitals letters and center it.
Title must be concise and accurate.

Before attempting any question ,first check the marks division and answer accordingly.If a question carry 2,or 3 marks then don't go for in depth detail of each and every organism ,general explanation is enough .
