150 in indopak ?

hello everyone!
everybody knows that indo pak history is a risky and low scoring subject.

seniors and all kindly tell the tips to score best in this.
is it possible to score 150 in it? if yes, then how ?
what are your tips to attempt the paper to get 150?

If you've done your MA in IR from KU, why don't you simply go for European History?

Indo-Pak is generally not a very scoring subject because since it's a local subject, many students and examiners have expert knowledge regarding the subject matter. It's always difficult to come up with the 'best' answers. Many people choose Indo-Pak thinking that it'd help them cover Pakistan Affairs as well but they end up scoring not so well in it.

i also choose indo pak history i want to know one thing why you r saying this that indo pak is not a scoring subject...?i thought this all the game of mind may its the scoring subject but u listen other and u can't do well.....believe in your efforts

It is low scoring because for a history subject its hard to come up with unique answer and for CSS unique & distinctive answers are the key!

But yes, I believe low scoring is not directly linked with any subject.

well according to me, the marks you get in indo pak mainly depend on the assessor of the subject.

we have seen, majority people in 2007 and 2009 got above 120. whereas in 2008, 2010 and 2011, majority of people got below 100.

everybody prepares for the subject, but to a great extent marking trend will tell you whether you are going to get good numers or otherwise.

so miss, i'll say, work hard and keep hopes high that you will get above 120 in indo pak.

if i choose euro history, will i need a teacher since in MA we just read this subject superficially ? which books and notes should be used ? kindly guide me..... won't it be lengthy? i have given my first attempt in indo-pak , will it affect if change now? i have heared that one must not change subjects once selected.

I think the most important thing is how to attempt a particular subject.Its not fair to label a subject as low marking just by conventions. the reason of most failures in history is that we ppl have no sense of history and yet opted it in competitive exams. what can give us more marks is the making of notres ,references and get checked and evaluated our material by an history expert faculty only this can help us to go through the subject withdistinctive marks only.

1.History is all about references in the form of quotations...
2.COMPREHENSIVE STUDIES....
3.proper understanding of questions....
4.solve the question in 3 portions
i.introduction...(mention clearly whether u r favouring argument or counter argument)
ii Body
iii conclusion.
