For Books for Islamic History kindly go through the following Thread

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/central-s...-subjects.html

And yes Islamic History is scoring. In css 2008 it proved to be the most scoring History Subject apart from American History. But keep one thing in mind you will have to go into the details and intricacies of the subject in order to score good marks.success doesn't come easily.

For Islamiyat

books for islamic history and culture
i would recommend you a single book for islamic history and that islamic history and culture by sohail bhatti.it'll cater to your needs.also get a handbook about islam which can give you a detail about various events taken place.
make your own notes for paper 2 in form of synopses.
