Brother RAZ's advice on case laws required

bro my question pertains to case laws
if practical based (case law) question is asked in paper of 20 marks how should we proceed with the answer??
i had the experience of answering these type of questions in c.a foundation exams,marks at stake were only 5 to 6

what points should be kept in mind ???

though u asked question from raz but i will like to ans.
if question is based on preposition than answer it precisely and to the point specially if its of 20 marks dont go in details and if possible support ur ans by a case citation
