2: philosophy made simple by Richard H. Popkin, PhD and Avrum Stroll, PhD( only Contemporary Philosophy part of book)

Philosophy demands presence of mind and voracious reading (but then, which subjects dont ). If you have the stamina, it shouldn't take you more than a month (or slightly over). It is very interesting and extremely scoring provided you are well acquainted with the material and concepts in various aspects and relate to them.

Secondly, if you could invest this time frame solely for its preparation (which unfortunately not many opt for), the lesser number of candidates would imply lesser competition, hence lesser burden for assessment and lenient marking (comparatively) since most of the competition and strict marking lies where majority of the candidates are concentrated.

Has any sesries e.g carvan, dogers published philosophy for CSS optional? I tried but could not find a single book like twenty twenty series for Philosophy, besides, no any book has so far been published for the competitave exam? What's the reason behind it?

No dear, as per my knowledge there is no such guide available because such guides are for commercial purposes and Philosophy (being not opted by many) is not a viable option commercially.
Ps you can get ready-made notes individually from those who are teaching philosophy to aspirants

I have notes for western philosophy with me, You can take those... while about muslim philosophy, if i'll get to know about some precise notes, I will make this forum informed
