If you do not have interest coupled with aptitude or background of Philosophy, and thinking to opt it, you will definitely be disappointed in the end. On the other hand Psychology is much easy and less time consuming if compared to Philosophy. Guidance for Psychology is easily available as well. Even Psychology is more scoring than philosophy. So my humble advice would be opting Psychology.

You can cover paper One of philosophy, Logic, easily but I doubt you may not be able to discern the second paper of the very subject. For it requires intensive reading and some background, not necessarily of academic nature, otherwise you will be loosing marks. There is a common understanding that this subject is invariably scoring but FPSC's statistics have something to add in the picture. In previous years, students even failed this subject ,however, many aspirants were able to grasp the highest marks, 140,150 and even 160 marks.

Philosophy is a time taking subject, without background you need a mentor to score even 100 marks. I also suggest psychology, less time consuming.
