I quoted 10-12 verses( shayr) in each question.

yes cramming is required here. make short notes of poetry and then revise it daily. I prepared short notes in bullet points but wrote all the poetic verses in it so that i could revise it before paper. If you are going in detail, then You will forget all the poetry.

Or you can make a chart of all the poets with their poetic verses in it and then paste it on the wall and revise it daily for 10-15 minutes only. If u believe it, Its the best strategy to cram poetry.

and what if someone can't produce poetic verses exactly??would it hurt badly?

Poetry directly hits the mind of examiner.. It impacts alot and u would b able to fetch good marks. Ok.. If you cannot cram much then at least memorize 3-4 verses. That's enough of it...
