Pashto
For Pushto
Tappa, Pukhtoon Larkhood, Pukhto da nasar Thareekh, Pukhto Nasar, Durdanay, Rehman baba (MA course). etc.
You can get these books from Pushto Acadamy Pesh. Univ. Also Sahar book is also good.
As far as pushto is concerened you can make selective study in this subject. Two to three poets, Olasi adab and Tappa, Da nasar 4 adwars, and a few kinds of nasars from the book Pukhto nasar.

PUSHTO paper And our stdies
salam dears.
if some budy has pushto as optional then he should stdy books like
REHMAN BABA BY DOOST MHD KAMIL
KHUSHAL BABA BY DOOST MHD KAMIL
AND OTHER BOOK OF SAHAR GUL KATOZAI THTS POHANA.
besides tht should prepare objectives from khushal and rehman usualy u would find such thngs n pohana but still need to prepare objectives specialy from DOOST MHD KAMIL book KHUSHAL KHAN KHATTAK.After stdying tht u would feel com4tble at least coz its basics for objectives.
i personaly prp objectives of past papers wid help of POHANA,KHUSHAL BABA AND REHMAN BABA....off course internet helped me lot where i find thngs absent n these books.
preparing pushto paper s easy but one thng should be kept n minid tht interest z necessory otherws u cant do it u would not belive tht till my final year engr i couldnt even read nor could write pushto it was css prp tht changed me lot.i used to avoid pushto songs also but thts very impt to hv.off course u should hv complete command over language for tht u hv to b very close wid it.
prepare KHUSHAL KHAN KHATTAK,REHMAN BABA,HAMZA BABA besides drama, tappa, and other folks.off course u can attempt translations as well if u find ur self com4tble wid it.but prp ur self n sense tht u need to hv choice n ur attempts coz ur sitting n css exmz not n MA PUSHTO if u hv choice u would b able to attempt ur best.
do prp proverbs ,idiomz etc which use to b part of translation?.
if u dont knw exact meanings it doesnt make any diff u can just translate it n our own words.
i have prp my notes but i cant publish it here
im available for friends any time wish u best of luck
thnks
aamer khattak

Asalamoalikum,
Wahid Wrora, you should give a least credit to your extensive writing and more to those who got your Pukhto paper evaluated. It Is the generosity of Peshawar University to give optimum marks to Pukhtun Students in that respective paper in order to promote Pukhto Language and most importantly to make the Pukhtun Students a part of Establishment.
We should thank them for their kind generosity,
Keep it up.
Wassalam,
Kor Waddan Sha

Thanks Amer Bhai for such a comprehensive overview of pashto preparation and especially by boosting our morale by claiming you had no prior knowledge of pashto.
I am also opting for pashto and I will get POHANA, the book you mentioned and I am also trying to learn how to write pashto which is not that difficult i guess but does pohana cover that proverbs part as well?and also the essay part?
and you mentioned you can publish your notes here so i'll be extremely grateful if you can do that.
thanks in advance

hey .
well pushto is better than any regional language as well as urdu. in pushto paper you will get maximum marks. normally 65 to 75 easily got. (this data is taken by css2008 fail results marksheet)
i can't say that who don't know any type of knowldge about pushto language can they do it or not.
please any seniors guide us who don't have any knowldge about pushto language and they seclect this subject as optional. give advised.
thanks

I'm one of those people who didn't get the chance to read or write pusto during the student life so how much time will it take me to cover up the subject keeping in mind the fact that i'd have to start all over from scratch.
