Should I opt economics?

Hello everyone,
Any one here who opted economics in css ?I have economics background should I go with economics? Is it worth opting or should I go with IR as I have no background in IR? And please also suggest me recommended books for the referred subject.

If you have masters degree in economics then opt othereise go with IR in css as majority of the aspirants opts.
