This is my personal opinion, CSS is a gamble. Yes people may argue that no doubt with utmost hard work , you will achieve anything. But CSS is not as black and white, luck plays a massive part. Thus, I would advise you to complete your CA so you have something to fall onto in the unfortunate circumstance you do not clear the CSS exams. Furthermore, your CA knowledge will help you immensely in the Accounting and auditing (200 marks), Business Admin (100 marks) and maybe Mercantile law (100 mark) exams!
yes i will definetly complete my CA i am in Final Module... but i am considering to do CSS nearby as a second career option, therefore i am little confused whether is it a good option ..? my optional subject will be (in case go for CSS): 1: Audit & Accounts 2:Buss. Admin 3:International Law 4:Gender Studies 5: Statistics |

Statistics cannot be taken alone from Group II.
A 200 marks subject or two 100 marks subjects must be opted from Group II if one decides to do so. |

My qualification is CMA currently working in BPS-17. I have secured admission in MS Management with scholarship in a local University, however if i go for MS Management then i can give only one attempt of css after qualifying my MS, seniors kindly guide me regarding.
1) Skip MS and give two attempts of CSS 2) Dont Skip MS and give only one attempt of CSS Note: I have read many horror stories where people left higher education opportunity for css and could not quality |

Lonegamer- your in a tricky situation. It totally boils down to you deciding according to your wider circumstances!
If I was you and just advising based on the limited info you've shared with us, I would have gone for the MS. You do not get such opportunities everyday, plus it will help you immensely in your career. CSS like I say is not black and white, you should not consider it as a matter of life and death! If Allah has willed it for you , then nothing can stop it from coming to you. Consider CSS as another career option and sit the one attempt after your masters. If you pass, well and good. If not, then at least you have your masters to fall back on and pursue something further out of it. |
