Wording in your query is ambiguous. Huda please re-write your query with proper narration.
(i)works manger is to get a commission of 10% (after charging such commission)profit its in excess of Rs 2000
What does Rs. 2,000 indicate? Whether it is a figure of profit on which manager's commission has to be charged or you wanted to say: commission will be charged only if profit is more than Rs.2,000?
Again ambiguous. Can you make it clearer? What does Rs.3,320 figure indicate? Whether Rs.3,320 is a sum of Manager's commission and General manager's commission? Or Rs.3,320 stands for anything else?

I have asked you these questions because of grave importance of "words", "punctuations" in such word problems of accounting & finance. Each word / each punctuation has different meaning and resultantly different outputs.

I am answering according to my understanding!

In 1st situation manager is entitled for commission @ 10% but after charging such commision profit will be 2000. Therefore, 2000 is 90% of total,so divide 2000 by 90% you have the actual figure before commission.i.e; 2222 so 10%of 2222is 222. therefore 222 is the amount of commission.

2nd method u can addopt is to divide 10 by 90 and multiply with 2000, then u will get the answer.

Ur second question is wrong or something is missing, what is 3320. Is it profit or any other value?
