accounting and auditing has income tax....abu baker is inquiring about about sales tax...
@abu baker
brother make your questiona a bit clear...may be i can help in that way
sales tax registration number printing has nothing to do with sales tax questions normally(as far as i know) so u need not to mention it..

actually sir ye graduation ka Q h... Q ye h k electricity bills ya sui gas bills ko input tax m add karny ki kia conditions hain... uper m 4 point likhy hian mean ye point in 4 ways ma sakta h 1 option clear ho gya h directly add krein gy 4 b clear ho gya h 16% apply krein gy but 2nd aur 3 nhi hua 2 mere point of view se to add hi karna h directly... but 3 m confusion h k uska b 16% le kar add karna h ya phir ignore krna h if u can solve that plz help kal paper h frnd ka...

first of all..
input tax paid to wapda is available as a credit against the output tax liability of a registered person if the electricity is being consumed for manufacturing such goods which are subject to sales tax..
now coming to your question..
2nd point ma add karna hai directly..
3rd point ma % lagani hai..

remember electricity bill kabhi kabhi kabhi bhi input tax ma directly add nahee ho sakta....and jahan par pehlay sa hee sales tax paid likha ho to wahan wo hamesha directly add ho jata hai input tax ma..
brother jub bhi question likho to zara clear way may likho like upar walay question ma u shud have mentioned clearly in point no. 1 that sales tax has been paid

i think rate is always given in paper......

i personally think if rate is not given then we should use current rate...it will give nice impression to examiner
