Thumbs up @ Xaara Hussain ( Regarding Final Accounts)

6 Important Points about Final Accounts Question:

1- Examine the total of the Trial Balance.

2-Mark each item of Trial Balance as

"T" for Trading account
"P" for Profit & Loss Account
"B" for Balance Sheet.

3-Draw up Trading and Profit & loss a/c & Balance Sheet simultaneously.

4- Post items from the Trial Balance to which they are concerned.

5-Look to the Adjustment items. (Remember ,Adjustments have double effect e.g Closing stock is posted in both Trading Account & Balance Sheet)

6-Balance Up the Trading Account than P&L a/c & than Balance sheet.

Practice any 1 comprehensive question on Final Account.

Must Remember,

While attempting accounting paper always remain calm, peaceful & confident.

You Should not be like this blink:

You Should be like this

So Be Confident,

Insha Allah You will grab excellent marks

Do we have to mark T/P/B for rough work or it is required part of the methodology?

its for your own convenience.

it will ensure that you have addressed all elements of Trial Balance.

It is part of methodology as well, but not part of solution.

Thanks. Is it possible for you to solve a question, preferably from the past papers and post it here (in shape of a picture or scan or typed)? Actually I am confused about how you start and end a typical question. I know how to do a question but I am afraid if I don't get the process/methodology cent perfect, I won't get good marks
