Well dear I think that the books you already studied would be sufficient for high scoring.

Very difficult to got 185 marks.40 marks Mcq's and sometime ask irrelvant. And all time you don't attempt full numericals.I think 160 got after full strength.

I am ACCA Finalist and I saw past papers. I myself will opt this subject in 2016 attempt. I think we would need to study from CA books .ACCA will only provide us the base . But to get 180+ CAbooks would be good.

Do you need to follow IFRSs and prepare answers by following new formats of SOFP and SOCI or prepare T accounts based formats?

You should consult books of ICMAP and VU Books keeping in mind the syllabus of CSS. Select books of these institutes according to the syllabus and choose the topics from these books. I cannot suggest you book names now because I think we studied old syllabus of CSS and syllabus and paper pattern of CSS is it little bit changed now.For your convenience follow the follow points to select the books:

1) Read the course contents of the CSS.
2) List the names of books and their contents(ICMAP and VU).
3) Compare the books's contents with course outline of CSS.
4)Select the book which you think has most matched contents.
5) For rest of the topics visit scrib books and take print out.

I shall try my level best to study the contents of the course and refer for you the books as and when I have time.
