Query abour tax rates

in CE 2014, tax question was asked about 2012, what rates one should apply in such a case, when one doesn't know the tax rates of that particular period ?

further, is there anyone who applied the rates of 2013-2014 period and still happened to score good marks ??

You are right. I would suggest you to apply current year rates. Examiner sems to be a nonsense person who in 2014 ask a tax qs about year 2012 knowing that students can not remember and in fact should not remember the obsolete tax rates of past years. So feel free to use latest tax rates.

Such examiner seems to be layman who doesn't know the spelling of deferred tax and incomplete mcq statements, as in last year paper, then everything is possible to require candidate to attempt tax questions of 2008 in 2014.
