Default Where to Find Arabic Notes/Books/ material?

Asslam u Alaikum ....!
I am also In Sha Allah Appearing in CSS 2010 Examination, & my optional subjects Would be:
1). Muslim Law & Int'l Law
2). Indo Pak History
3). Arabic/ Urdu
I have not yet finalized the 3rd subject, and confused in this regard...
Actually I did LLB (Hons.) Sharia & Law from International Islamic University,Islamabad, & studied Islamic Law (Sharia) in Depth but in Arabic for 3 years. So I have some familiarity with Arabic & can speak and write it to the fine extent. But Problem here is that in CSS Arabic Lierature is there, & I have no such familiarity with Arabic Literature...!
So Would any body please guide me in this regard! Also does notes would suffice in Arabic... & from where I can find good quality notes!
Hope learned members would cooperate & advise me in this regard. Thanks.

well if u r from IIUI then ARABIC should be your priority. you cannot only find teachers to guide u through but also the students. i think go for arabic.
now abt the books. well the books are already available here. http://www.cssforum.com.pk/arabic.php
however the book by hassan al zayyat is good enough.
abt the notes.........well i propose u make your own notes and consult the past papers here http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-past-...ers-1971-2008/ for further convenience.
any more queries abt arabic??????? ur more than welcome to ask any time

@abro,
assalam alikum,
you have plenty of time to prepare for arabic literature provided that you have interest in the subject. i dont know the reasons for changing the subjects but if you find lit interesting then i suggest go for it. i got 120+ in arabic(don't remember the exact)but there are many who hold better than mine . as far as my info, arabic pays you well, especially because examiners presume our incompetence in the subject
now coming to the books. for concept-making the book ive mentioned above is good n comprehensive. other than this you can consult "the arabs in history" by Bernard Lewis(u need to have a taste to read this)
ive heard there is a book by Nicholson which covers quite a lot of the syllabus. check it as well.
in my case, i took advantage of the arabic sites only. all i had was the Zayyat's book n lewis with a vvery limited time at my disposal.
best of luck. im sure you can do well in it
p.s: creativity and interest in any subject can lead u to success

Default same message but with correction of typing mistakes

well mem,i feel uncomfortable to rely on letter-system(mailing to forum ) in an age of modern technology.(plz dont mind it )
getting ans within moments and then replies, and also conter-replies is the conducive system.
anyways,thanks for ur reply.
now, tell me did you know to write ARABIC expertly?
waiting for ur replies...
