Default The course for CS is almost the entire degree of Software engineering.

The course for this subject is too lengthy compared to other 200 marks subjects. Why is this so? Do you agree?

I dropped CS because it covers Everything one does in a 4 year degree

Default Not much.

It was lengthy when it was of 100 marks. Now, for 200 marks, every CS graduate must opt it because its worth it. :-) The syllabus is well defined and clear cut. I am pretty sure that those who are opting it this time will score more than 160 with good preparation.

yes its lengthy.
One has to cover 9-10 subjects including c-lang, oops, networking, comp architecture, Compiler Construction, Software Engineering, Data structure and Analysis Of Algorithm, web, OS.
One Who says its not lengthy my comment is that, these are individual subjects not the topics as compare to other subjects.

I will recommend all the CS grads to opt this comp. science paper, because it is of 200 marks and we've already studied almost everything which is mentioned in syllabus. It will take less time to cover as compared to other subjects, like If we go for Pol. Science or IR. According to what I figured out that IR and Pol. Science won't be easy for us, plus it is going to take whole lot of effort to cover any of them. So despite opting other subject, why not opt which we've already studied to save time and effort.
