Default Absolutely Yes !

We , who are from CS background, must opt Computer Science because
1) It is a scoring subject.
2) If we don't opt it, we are left with the groups having subjects we hardly know.

Opt it and go through all the subjects and iA it will fetch good marks.

Regards

If I were you then I would opt computer science, because you have done computer engineering so it means you already have sufficient knowledge to push yourself on the computer science track, and it's going to take less time to prepare as compared to the subjects you have not yet familiarized with, like Pol Sci, IR, Economics etc. Why I am suggesting you is because I myself am a CS graduate.

Exclamation Need some serious help!

First of all I'm really very relieved to find that other engineers are also in the go for CSS. It is because I've been searching for a CSS aspirant of my educational background but was unable to find a single one for past few months.
Now, coming to my point I think it is needed to mention that I'm an Electronics Engineer graduated in 2015 and I intend to opt Computer Sciences as an Optional Subject. But the course outline provided by FPSC looks way too much heavy to me becuase the Software Engineering part prevails in course outline. Being an Electronics Engineer, I've already covered most aspects of the course, but what really worries me is that "Can I EFFECTIVELY cover the software engineering part of the course too?"
I need the opinion of Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineer in this regard!!! It is because I think Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineerings are somewhat same to some extent. So, can an Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineer cover the Computer Sciences course fully with worrying too much (as Compulsory subjects are already there to worry about)???
-Wassalaam!

sir, i am too an electronics engineer. i explain this in following ways.
why electronic engineer should not opt cs?
look, you have to study java to cover OOP.
2.you have to study database concepts.
3.you have to study image processing since we had only studied signal processing(may be one topic related to Image processing).
4.you have to study operating system, computer organization(see the syllabus, it's not microprocessor).
i think if we opt cs, we have to do lots of work. just programming+database take almost a month.
if you are creative and want to opt cs, go for it. but remember, it is a risk, you have to cover other subjects. choice is yours.

Good to see some same kinda guys here!
I am also an electronics engg, had studied 5 courses (OOP, Java, little touch of Android, Php, Mysql database etc) during engg of computer but still will take some time to recall them
I am not good at Learning by rote, i like to learn things easily rather than memorizing them
what i was thinking is Opting for Physics + Computer + ?
So what do you guys suggest? which one you people opted or made-up your mind?
