Dear Zeeshan
Computer Science is a scoring subject. I had got 75 marks in my 2006 attempt, which was my 1st attempt. But its syllabus is quite lengthy.

hi

Yea...its a scoring subject provided you are well prepared about it...
you need to go through HTML, Java Script, CSS, C++, Applets concepts,
Data Modelling, DBMS concepts, SQL, In SE you need to go trough SDLC, all models (Waterfall, V-Model, Spiral, Incremental, RAD, TDD, FDD, Scrum), Software cost estimation models, PERT, PRINCE, Unix concepts, OS core concepts like process / scheduling, Computer Architecture concepts, Networking TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, MAN and many many more.

It all depends on the paper setter from where he could give you the questions

But if you have studied CS and you are practisioner you need to revise and there you go.

Thanks for your replies.

I am a Software Engineer with 1.5 years of Software Engineering & Development Experience. I did BS(CS) Hons degree. I am opting for this subject definitely.

Can you guide me about the computer graphics section as I have not opted that course during my BS.

its great to hear that you are computer scietist, as i had also a same background, i have sound knowledge in technical aspects, but when i go through the syllabus then i found that theory is more important then technical knowledge so concetrate more on theory,
such as
basic developement of computer
basic developement of languages
periods of computer age
concepts of basic languages and their basic funtions
database, such as oracle
files concepts such as kernal and others are important programmes, concept such as malware, firewall and many more
and also read some good book of MCQs it will gives you a tharough concepts

keep it up, you have another advantage that you have already covered these topics, so it will also save your time. but dont take subject so easy beacuse its sounds too much technical. but mark scoring will be easy for you inshallah

best of luck
hope for the best
