Please Recommend a TextBook for Economics

Dear senior members,

I have a favor to ask, I have decided to opt Economics as one of my optional subjects for CE-2016 but I am confused as to which book I should study for my preparation. There are many suggested readings but I am scratching my head over which one to buy that will cover the entire syllabus for both papers of Economics and that has the best material inside to help me in my preparation. I don't have the time to make notes from multiple sources and would love to get a book with all in one that's gonna save my time immensely and I can start preparation as quickly as possible.

Moreover if you can elaborate on how much time its gonna take to fully cover Economics syllabus if one starts from scratch and how should we approach our preparation?

Any recommendation and advice from CSP who has opted Economics and scored decently in CE will be highly appreciated and can help me a great deal in clarifying my confusion.
