Senior please suggest which subject is the best for m.phil linguistics or literature and also explain why ?

Default Language or Literature
Literature I suggest for you because literature everybody enjoys and nobody reads especially for exams. So you go for literature. I am expert on language and literature both but have no authority on either. It is because authorising people only know grammar about language and nothing about literature except that literally it means that.........I assure you, yours is better choice for linguistics.
