Absolutely right, IR new syllabus demand more than a single book. Currently, I'm dissecting Goldstien book and will come with chapters according to fpsc syllabus.

i suggest you stick to goldstein, i found it difficult at first and i posted my commets here.. but now as i have been through the first 2,3 basic chapters it's beginning to flow and you'll sail easily...

Goldstein has not impressed me. Its too short... e.g, Realism is just of one page, world wars, nd pre nd post WWII era covers 4-6 pages.
It is a book to cram the basics. We ll need FPSC's suggested books to gather required material of required length nd quality.

I would like to go with the books by local authors as they use simple language to put across complex ideas.
