i've started International Relations by Goldstein; and after going trough the book once, i might go for another author - Gosh most probably (but will decide that later)..
i've never been in practice of making notes, dunno how i shall fare this time, let's see how it turns out... any suggestions would be appreciated

How relevant do you find Goldstien? I couldn't get his book and hence began with Gosh.

the concepts have been elaborated but not simplified , i mean you've got to exert and dissect deeper to have an understanding... the book surely doesn't follow the FPSC outline, it's scattered all over in various chapters.. now all my trying to do is read it thoroughly and make notes afterwards...

Gosh
So far, I have done only 1st chapter from Gosh. He refers to Goldstien for explaining things. Just like Goldstien, you have to make an effort to understand Gosh. I am planning on having another book written by Parkash Chandra. It covers foreign policies of various countries like USA, CHINA, INDIA, RUSSIA. However, I have found Gosh somewhat relevant to FPSC on line. Of course, there are some topics for which I will have to use google.
Just a suggestion, we can share contact details to discuss the preparation strategy and resources at our disposal for the preparation of IR.
