Confusion opting International Relations

I request all of you that please help me sort out my problem. I have already posted my query on some other area of the forum but I didn't get any reply.

I want to opt 'International Relations' from group-1. The problem is that I have no background knowledge of this subject but this subject interests me and the other reason is that it also helps in preparation of essay, current affairs, pakistan affairs. As I am left with two chances, CE-16 & CE-17.

What do you people suggest? Please give an honest advice.

What other options you have left! Political Science or Computer Science? I am CS graduate and opts IR because of the facts you have mentioned above. So I suggest to go for IR without any hesitation.

@Derawall: I am quite thankful that you replied so quickly because I had been making posts of the same query on different areas of the forum but was not getting replies.

We are of same thoughts and of same background :) I am also CS gard. but brother the reason I am NOT taking this subject(CS) is because I am sick of studying it again, I don't find it interesting anymore, and I'm kind of done with it.

Actually I wanted something which is appealing, which is interesting, challenging, beneficial to me, and help me in preparation of compulsory subjects, and I found IR to be exactly matching my criteria.

When you said "You are CS grad". I said to myself "Thank God there is at least one out there who is of same background as me" :)

@Derawall: Brother may I know your subjects' combination?

Hahaha :) CS doesn't meet the criteria to make anyone a CSP. So lengthy syllabus and you know being a CS grad this syllabus looks even more lengthy.

I found IR as best alternative.
