IR a big problem to me

Dear friends,I am a new member here.I am preparing for other subjects with relative ease and comfort.But i have never studied ir in my academic career but now i am forced to opt for it.I am really confused how to deal with such a big subject,How to extract notes for it.Please members tell me tips to ace it. I want elaborate and comprehensive answer.Your schedule ,method and roadmap to tackle it...

Start with the subject's introduction, scope and theories. Then proceed to IR PART II, after its completion you can come to PART I.
