can anyone answer this?

Do you agree that the post-Cold War international scenario has generated more constraints that opportunities for Pakistan's foreign policy? If so, what those? Suggest measures enabling Pakistan to face the 'new challenges'.

Sharing my point of views

End of cold war brought about major changes throughout the globe as two super powers remained head to head eachother. Since it's inception, Pakistan's foreign policy tilted towards the USA, which, in turn, naturally borught hostilities with the former USSR. The end of cold war marked the supermacy of the USA and dismemberment of the USSR. This resulted in opportunities as well as constraints for Pakistan. However, in my opinon, the weigh of constraints exceeds as compared to opportunities.

Opportunities for Foreign Policy:

Free from the clout of USA
End of proxy war on the behalf of America
Find allies in the East and Europe
To pursue the path and handling technicalities involved in becoming a nuclear power
Constraints;

Got heavily entangled in Afghanistan and recognized the government of Taliban in 1996.
Stained relationship with Moscow
9/11 incident and Pakistan had to become of frontline State in combating War of Terrorism
Veering policy towards Kabul
Encountering various terrorist organizations, and confronting Afghanistan and India simultaneously
Image of Pakistan in Internation media and International Organizations -
Had to build a narrative on International forums that Pakistan is not a state sponsoring terrorism
Won the trust of the USA in consonance with the sacrifices made
Had to placate the stance on Kashmir issues
Depending upon the individual's approach, quite a few changes can be made in it.
