Default IR theories

Is there anyone who can share IR theories with me? Especially relating to Constructivism and post modernism.

It may daunt someone, but it is only going through by exhausting range of study enables one to comprehend crux of IR theories and underlying concept in international interactions (political, economic, social, cultural, and, above all, strategic), books by Baylis, Kegly, and Goldstein are conducive in this regard.

we may discuss in detail these theories (if someone interested), but now I just inform you the essence of these theories.
constructivism: constructivist employ social science to demonstrate how norms, practices, ideas, and identities play a crucial role in IR which is neglected by mainstream theories (realism and liberalism).
post-modernism: highlights the hegemony of western ideas in IR , it is fundamentally a rejection of existing theories with the argument that truth is not universal it is socially constructed.
for instance, it challenges the very idea of the realist that power is the military strength instead they argue ideas, norms and words may more crucial form of power.

The above reply nails it. You can't as a beginner just read one book and expect to grasp the theory completely. You have to undertake extensive reading. If you're really struggling then here's what to do.Just go onto Youtube and you'll find some really good channels that explain the theories in 8-10 min with examples. Then go back to your book and voila! Everything starts making sense. It actually works.

P.S. Important thing is that you stick to one theory at a time.

I espouse your suggestion to comprehend single theory at a time but partially. I am the very view of that after developing an understanding of each theory one must draw a comparison of all and put into historical and contemporary discourse, mean hereby, evaluate origin, evolution, scope, and limitation of each theory to explain international relation-which is the purpose of them.
