You can see past papers of IR for that. However, in my personal opinion, this approach is narrow and would render you inability to compete.

If you want to prepare IR, you need to understand basic iseas of IR
Theories like Realism Liberalism neo realism etc
WWI WWII
IR after 1945
UN
Nuclear Deternece
NATO
WARSAW
SCO
OIC
UNSC
Palestine Issue
Pak India issues
Pak Afghan Relations etc
You will see you will not need guess works important questions and shortcuts like that.
