Exclamation Paper from Syllabus?

Asalamoalaikum,

I have a question!
Do they prepare exam from the syllabus as given by the FPSC or does anything come out of syllabus too?

Thanks,

Nope, recently they have been taking the liberty to add things from elsewhere especially in the optionals. There was a question about world order on IR and you will never find this topic in books or syllabus. In fact, its was discussed lot in foreign Affairs mag because of the recent trump policies. Similarly, in I law there was a question on ICC and its not even in the syllabus, but John Bolton gave a statement on it. If you think about it then the papers have been taking a lot of inspiration from current affairs. So do your best to follow news on the subject that you have taken. I will also add that read books published after 2010. For instance, Kapoor's Ilaw was published long before ICC was created. Read shaw instead.
