Hi Aali Jah
Dear King,
There are enormous books on "Internation Affairs or Current Affairs"; do nothing and even do not put yourself in pointless maze of finding books, just go for three ways to cover your study areas: 1. For historical information go through the book "World Politics since 1945" by P. Calvocorassi 2. Go for "Contemporary Affairs" (Quarterly Issued) by Imtiaz Shahid 3. Go for the daily reading of "DAWN" this will 100% cover your current affairs and recent events through out the world. with best regards. |
IR Book
International Relations by Parkash Chander,
Daily Dawn and Strategic Studies Journal I think these three sources are excellent for IR preparation |
The books suggested by u guys r good. Also study Press Review magazine. It is helpful both for IR and CA.
Regards |
You should start your prep by reading Dawn daily, and for IR must consult, Prakash Chandra, and a key book by Dogar's or any other publisher caz it will help you to develop understanding, Prakash Chandra is a difficult book for begginers and must check some monthly magazines like "Economist" and "Muslim World" both are best and you can take some quotes from their articles and it will add alot to your essay writing also.
Firsh check these things, soon as I will get time will add more to it. Regards |
i ll sugest u a very simple and easy book its international law by khuram amir qureshi.

@Tahir Mujtaba
IR by Palmer and Perkin and IR by Dogar's Publishers can be taken as a good start. |
Dear King, hope you are fine. The book by P.Chandar is the best to make you aware of basic facts and figures; it's the core book. Furthermore, Daily Dawn, Contemporary Affairs and Strategic Studies Journal would suffice in the list of the references.
