Default Legal or Particular Rights?

I am studying Political Science from Mazhar ul Haq's book. In the 'Rights and Duties' Chapter, the author has defined two types of rights; legal and particular. Their definition is similar and they both are further classified into civil and political rights. A googled practical rights and found nothing about it. Anyone who can clarify these two types of rights?

Hi Amina95,

Are you sure he has written legal and particular? Because in the version that I downloaded, he has broadly divided them into legal and moral rights. He sub-divides legal into civil and political, under which he mentions 'particular rights'.

In my book he has defined three kinds of laws; moral, legal and particular. The definition of both 'legal' and 'particular' is the same. Moreover, the further classification of these two is also the same i.e. civil and political rights. I have an old edition though so maybe he has rectified this mistake in the new one. Thanks for the help
