This paper was insanely trickey and many fellows take it as random. Crack with keywords is below:
1. Hegalian Dialectic; science of motion, thesis, antithesis and synthesis; lessons of history; convergence and divergences of Political institutions (Monarchy, Oligarchy, Democracy); criticism of Fukuyama about end of history; Relate both and examplify with French Yellow Vests riots; hence proved Hegal was rightfully doing the job. 2. Judicial activism (for the sake of both political and administrative accountability) ; separation of powers theory applies at this portion; constitution article 239; autonomy of Parliament in legislative process VS judicial interpretation; how judiciary is misusing her authority; dams, accountability and population policy verdicts (by former CJ; his name or designation not to be mentioned); accountability is avaliable in Parliament (PAC, Standing and Functional Committees), hence Parliament's constitutional Sovereignty is fully exploited in the name of judicial activism. Conclude with the fact that those who do not exercise separation of powers are ruined and those who did they didn't (USA, India) as political stability is the outcome. 3. 18 th amendment; a true federation characteristics; reverting it would make Pakistan a unitary state. (depends on what role the president would assume and how the constitutional change would occur) 4. Fascism; German ethnocentrism; current refugees crisis (leftists vs rightists) and Italy; Machiavelli and his idea of a fascist ruler; state of Italy in Machiavelli age; birth of Italian Fascism causation (not sure about Germany) |

Paper 1 is such a letdown and it watered down my morale for Paper 2. I planned to revise 18th amendment during the break for paper 2 and absolutely freaked out to see that in paper 1: but fortunately, paper 2 turned out well; I felt like I was attempting a Pakistan Affairs' paper -- too general but it saved me! lol

Can someone tell me in what context the 18th amendment was discussed in paper two? The write-up of the question had a bit grammatical glitch in it. I think it pertained to both the impacts of 18th amendment and incase its reversed, how the federal characteristics would turn for the state?

Question no. 7 relating to Italian Fascism: most students did it by mentioning Mussolini who is not included in course.
Need expert opinion whether it relates to Machiavelli or Mussolini? Machiavelli is included in course but not Mussolini. |
