Default Q.Define Democracy and through light on its present and future based upon its history

INTRODUCTION
The efforts of Sir Sayed Ahmed Khan, the dream of Allama and political of endeavour of our father of nation Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ultimately managed to attain the land of pure people what is called Pakistan. Our country is the outcome of political and democratic struggles. However, for last seven decades, there have been numerous military interventions, wars, civil and public turmoil, yet the country has survived and has been one of the seventh Nuclear Powers among the most powerful nations. Taken the consecutive democratic transitions into account, it is safe to justify that the democracy of Pakistan has been enough capable to uphold itself for ages ahead. However, there are some threats to it and challenges which are to be redressed with holistic approach and political will power.

DEFINITION OF DEMOCRACY
According to the US President, Abraham Lincoln, “Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people”

PRESENT SCENARIO OF DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN
Presently, for last one decade, it has been possible for the country to carry out democratic rules but with countless challenges. At present, the nascent government under the leadership of Imran Khan, is seem to be at right track but still a lot of the challenges which are to be taken into account. However, the hike in prices, devaluation of rupee, vendetta between political forces and IMF declining the extra loans have been current challenges for the new government.

FUTURE OF DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN
Consecutive democratic transition
However, consecutive democratic transition has somehow proven that the government of the people, by the people and for the people is getting enriched day by day. Establishment support, Judiciary activity and bureaucratic domains are trying their best to bring about positive change in order to strengthen democracy of Pakistan. The consecutive democratic rule is a result of the all domains of the institutions which have led the country stabilized in democratic government.

Democratic norms and revolutions
Democratic norms and revolutions are regarded auspicious indicators for a developing country like Pakistan. In addition to that, the institutions such as legislature, Judiciary, Parliament and Media are also accounted with the institution building. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has kicked off several initiations in institution building. For that, the other portfolios of the ministries are also playing their rule up to the mark, comparing the nightmare of military intervention and wars of Pakistan for last seven decades. To be continued..
