What is your academic qualification?

The syllabus of Political science is some what lengthy as compared to IR.

Both subject will require thorough knowledge, analytical approach and good grip to answer the questions easily

IR is more preferred comparing to Pol Science as mostly CSPs guide because this subject supports you in Current Affairs as well in your opted subject Public Administration. That is what I have experienced during last attempt and found it very beneficial or else the opting of subjects is largely depending on your academic background as well as your our tendency. For former, you should consult with previous papers as well as the given syllabus that would guide you better. Best of luck.
